The word Blog comes from the term Weblog which was coined in 1997 by a man named Jorn Barger. Barger was a programmer and early internet enthusiast who maintained a personal website called Robot Wisdom, where he logged links and commentary on various topics.

Tools like WordPress, which I am now using, made this process much simpler. The ability for non tech savvy individuals to access this medium and share their thoughts globally was ground breaking.

Today the way that we interact with the internet has evolved and changed massively and very few people maintain their own website and rather outsource this to platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, or Youtube.

This page is not only a place to share my ideas but also a way of reconnecting with the origins of the digital era that i’ve been raised in.
